A very quick one to say that I’m taking a break this month, but I wanted to leave you with a few interesting things to read:
- Stephanie Steele’s sustainability and textiles blog – there is SO much to dig into, I can’t keep it short! Start anywhere you like and enjoy her thoughts and words;
- Carmen Sheridan’s beautiful piece for Radicle: she recently visited the late Derek Jarman’s garden at Prospect Cottage and shared her experience of working on land that represents powerful social change;
- My most recent piece for Radicle, ‘Weeping for a Silver Birch’;
- And finally…some of you may know that I am one of the keynote speakers for this year’s From Fleece to Fashion conference in Glasgow this September! This is a hybrid event, free to attend, and takes place from the 8th-9th September. More details here.
I hope you’ve been having a lovely summer, and I will be back in September with a mini-series on knitwear design and applied maths.
Best wishes,
Natalie
