Services Guide

If you’d like to work with me, you’ve come to the right place! Whether you’re organising an event, producing a show, or in charge of a taught programme, I can inspire your audience and show them something new.

Guest Speaking

You can book me for interview slots at your event, as a guest on your podcast or vlog, or as a speaker at your conference or craft festival! Broadly speaking, I enjoy discussing design professional practice and exploring how the clothes we wear support, nourish and root us.

Visit the Guest Appearances page for my video interviews, or my main blog page for my writing. In-person appearances have been at Unravel and Waltham Abbey Wool Show.

I am also comfortable being recorded, if that’s more your thing! I was featured on televison as a guest judge on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas, broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK during December 2021.

Guest Lectures

Teaching is a BIG love of mine (so big it’s my main job away from the internet) and I absolutely love giving guest lectures. If my expertise fits in with your craft retreat, course or community – or maybe your learners need a smidgen more specialist advice or insight – let me know!

Some of my guest lectures and workshops have been hosted by Vogue Knitting Live, Circle of Stitches, The Knit-Tea Retreat, Waltham Abbey Wool Show, WoollyAway (hosted by Crates of Wool), and The Pattern Design Circle.

You can download my current taught offerings here.

Are you a professional in need a fresh pair of eyes or some constructive feedback on design development? I’m here to help! If a guest spot isn’t for you, you need something more bespoke, or you’d prefer something more confidential, this option might be best.

Reviews and testimonials

Natalie was a wonderful instructor! She was very enthusiastic and fun to listen to and explain things so well! She has stimulated my design mind. Just really really fun and informative lecture!

I wanted to say a massive thank you for being part of the series. We are all thrilled with how well the Jumper and Stocking episodes went, and your crafts and judging were such a highlight. Thank you for all the prep you did for us, and creating your beautiful placemat and headband. It was wonderful spending the day with you and getting to see your creative process up close. I’m sure our audience will be as thrilled and impressed as we were while filming you.  I can’t wait to watch the episodes!
