Between the Seams

This is the community to join for knitwear design tips, learning resources and support for designers. This is where I share personal insights from my work as a designer. I write about mindset, professional practice, and making the job work. I also announce products and courses to this group, so if you’d like to be in the know, this is the place.

Pattern Spotlights

If you make your own clothes or are interested in doing so, Pattern Spotlights is the group for you. This fortnightly offering is for all clothes makers – sewing and knitting – and anyone interested in fitting and alterations. New shop products such as knitting patterns, courses and learning resources for sewing, fit and alterations will be announced here too.

I also use this space to share any personal projects I’m working on. Some of my projects make it to the blog, but it’s not possible to document them all! And if you have any suggestions for blog posts or other materials, you can reply to any email and let me know.

Knitting patterns

If you don’t want to hear from me regularly but want to know when I have something new in to offer, you are very welcome to join my dedicated list for pattern releases only. I won’t be in regular contact with this newsletter, but you will be one of the first to know when there’s something new in the shop. This segment will be quiet throughout most of 2023 and 2024 as I build the knitwear design course, but hopefully you won’t forget who I am and why you signed up!
